Here they come!

Just reached home from my insti. I've got only two more weeks of classes, after which I would be flying to India. I still haven't really made a decision regarding my college. One thing is sure - I wouldn't be studying HERE! Firstly because the education system in Dubai is not all that satisfactory, and secondly because I wouldn't be geting any exposure to the outside world, and I don't wanna turn into yet another 'broiler chicken', as Dad puts it. Well, may be I already am one:D

I've spent a major part of my life here and I'm very much emotionally attached to this city! And I must say that, life in here is just plain sailing, as compared to life in India. And that makes things all the more difficult, because, I know I'd be having big time problems getting adapted to the surroundings back there , but then I don't have another choice. Mom says that there would come a day when I would rush to her and Dad shouting, "Thank You Mom & Dad! You guys really did the right thing by sending me to India! I love you!" and all that! According to them, it's better that I leave behind this 'make-believe world' and 'driveless kids', and start 'living'! Which is, come to think of it, true! Um, true-ish.

Okay Mahi, enough of these self-centered talks. Let's talk about something worldly, for a change.

Ah yes!

The IPL finals are finally here! The Super Kings have stormed into the finals by crushing the Singhs by nine wickets, yesterday at the second semi-final. I'm not much of a cricket freak, but still looking forward to it, all the same!

I'm supporting CSK, as I just love Dhoni! Well, both are strong teams - Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. But my gut feeling says that the Super Kings are gonna emerge as
winners!

What do you guys think?

as much as we hate to let you go, sweetheart, we would like to see you grow up into a self reliant, strong individual and that is possible only if you study in India where you can experience life in its truest form, quite unlike the cocoon kind of fairy tale existence you find here.

@ ferri: hey, not really...u can still become self reliant n all tht...it basically depends on the individual...like for example, i need to grow up a lot...i can't do a thing myself...but u r the eldest of ur house...n tht makes u a lot more capable! but still, its always better if u go to india:)

@geets: yeah, i can understand. i know u ppl always look out for my best interest!

@swathy: thanks! hopefully, yes!
