The door, the chicken and the guy!

OH, don't we just totally detest it when the unexpected crops up at the oddest of hours?

We've been at home, or rather stuck at home, all day long, thanks to our main door's goddamned bolt which rebels to move even an inch from its previous position (thankfully, the unlocked position. phew!). Dad's been on a complete run-in with it since morning, and I've tried my hand at it too, but voila, the lock seems to be as belligerent as ever. "Just like you", my dad winked at me *grin*. We had complained at the reception and the security guy came along with the lubricant, and sprayed all around the lock. The carpenter dude is apparently out of station, and wouldn't be back till tomorrow. So that would probably mean, a sleepless night for us. Ok, not really. May be the situation is not all that touch-and-go, but then...you never know! Ew, the lubricant's smell is just too strong and now it has distributed itself all over the hall. But it ain't of much use. Spraying on the lock, I mean. Atleast, not as of now. Well, let's see!

Li had rang me up early in the morning from her hostel! And I so hate myself for being in the bathroom at that particular moment. Fortunately, she he had left a message for me on my answering machine, and I could atleast hear her voice. I miss her totally! She too said she misses me a hell lot, and that she keeps wishing that she was here in Dubai. I felt so sad hearing that, because I know that those are probably the same words I would be mouthing in another two months, to my parents. And Ferri! I don't think I'll really miss anyone as much as I'm gonna miss these three special people in my life :) :)

Oh and yeah, I'm just so confused! I feel like doing Engineering, Journalism and English Literature, all at the same time. Damn, I would have to make up my mind fast, and that very thought of decision-making freaks me out! My whole life depends on this single decision! Sheesh!
Meanwhile, the helluva lubricant smell is being swapped by Mamma's famous chicken curry's aroma! Ah, it almost makes me feel like Donald Duck, wafting on air towards the kitchen. Oh, don't I just miss those old 'disney-hour' days of mine!

Uh-oh! I almost forgot! It's eight thirty and I gotta be going. JJWS is starting in a while and I don't wanna miss it! I'm a lil too obsessed with that Rahul guy, I mean, he's such a cutie! And a smartie! And a....

Uhh, well. I guess that would do, for the time being! I might be like the only girl on blogosphere who keeps talking so openly and incessantly about guys I don't even know about, and that too, right under my Mamma's nose:D
