Lie!

I know, I used to go around yelling out this dialogue at the top of my voice, so often and so loudly that even Shakira heard me, ripped off my dialogue and titled one of her songs after it. Ok, so what if she was talking about her hips alone? What do you think they are made of anyway? Well my point is, after all that and much more, my bones ACTUALLY lied!!

Yeah, just who would have thought that the Rajasthan Royals would be lifting the inaugural IPL trophy, especially when the Super kings had paced their innings so well? I thought CSK had done an awesome job , and it was just bad luck, or whatever you would call it, that they lost by one run! ONE run! I wouldn’t have felt so bad even if CSK had screwed up their innings, but this whole one-run thingy is seriously depressing!

All in all, it was a very exciting match, quite unlike the semis (predictable ones, they were!). You should have seen Dad and me, we were screaming, hooting, chest-banging and what not! Even Mom actually sat and saw the whole thing, which is quite surprising, considering the fact that she hardly ever sits still. And guess what! I had this weird dream last night. Weird, as in, totally! I can’t really recollect the entire thing, but I remember seeing Dhoni clad in the same yellow T-shirt and the checked lungi which he wore for the pepsi ad, along with the sunglasses and all, swaggering towards a very much nonplussed Shane Warne, dramatically raising his finger at him and saying, “Enna rascala! Maaaind it!” It was hilarious, I tell you! God, I must have almost died in my sleep. Honestly:D

So that was it, the 45 day fever has finally abated!

I had gone to school in the morning to collect my mark list and migration certificate, after which I was at Gatha’s. We did nothing much, other than the usual site-hopping. Now before I forget, I’ve got a few things to say. First of all, I would like to wish my dearest sis, Vidyechi a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I know, I’m a day early, but just wishing you in advance, incase I wouldn’t be posting any time soon, that is in the next two or three days. Hope you have a blast with your family and friends! Take loadsa pics and show me, okay? Rock on, big sistah :)

Second of all, I’m wishing all you guys out there, who are preparing for the BITS entrance exam, all the very best! Ticket-waala is packing his bags and leaving this week *straight face* (stop staring, guys:D). So all the best to him as well!
