Six quirky things about me!

Okay, it says that I’m supposed to mention six of my quirks. Only six? Um, that would be a lil difficult, especially when I have like sixty in total or something. Anyway, here we go:

1.

I don’t know how to hold a pen. As in, correctly, like between the thumb and the index finger or whatever the right posture is. I mean, I hold it in such a weird way, and the fact is that I’ve never seen anyone else hold it the way I do. Dad says I hold my pen as though it’s an iron stiletto (narayam).At school, this used to keep evoking patronizing eye brow raises among the teachers, who kept bombarding me with a “don’t you feel uncomfortable?”, each time they caught me writing. Well, at least in that aspect, teachers would jibe that I’m unique :P

2.

I’m a sucker for striped T-shirts! Nearly three fourth of my wardrobe is crammed with them, out of which about half is taken up by the green and white striped ones alone, of different shades. I think stripes make u look smart! In fact, the only reason why I had a crush on my ex crush was just because he had too many striped T-shirts.

3.

My fingers keep quivering quite often, for no specific reason. In the beginning I just shrugged and took it as a result of over stress and tension. But then later I noticed that even otherwise, they sometimes do tend to keep slightly shivering. The first time I actually felt this was in the Chemistry Lab when my hand shivered uncontrollably while holding the spatula during salt analysis. Mom thinks I might have brutally killed a cat in my last janam, and may be I really did have, taking into account the fact that I’m terribly terrified of those species. Whoa, now that reminds me of Om Shanti Om!

4.

I see the same dreams over and over again, and I have no idea what they imply! Like, for example, for the fourth time, last week, I saw myself ferociously zooming past the city on my Lexus with Mom in the passenger seat. And I was wearing the same shirt all the four times! Man, that was really creepy. I mean, I don’t even have a license, for God’s sake!

5.

I hate make-up. Yep, go ahead and call me weird! Cause that’s what I am. I mean, in this 21st century, where girls visit beauty parlors just about as often as their own toilets, I think it’s really weird of me to make such a statement. Well, that's Mahi for you! According to Facebook, I’m a little towards the tomboy-ish side, and according to Ferrin, I gotta be a little more feminine and apply a ‘jab of liptsick’! Nay! Not for all the tea in China!

6.

I keep a track of all my crushes in my diary. So far I’ve had 28 crushes, which includes 15 celebrity crushes and 1 virtual crush! My first crush was on a salesman at Giant Centre at the age of eight. I wonder if he still works there. Actually, I feel that the crush bug bites me a little too often!
