Now that I've realized that I'm getting better at this day by day, lemme tell you that vamoosing is something I should probably perfect as an art. Period. I mean, seriously, tell me the name of another blogger who can do this disappearing act in such a religiously invariable manner? *leans forward cupping a hand to her ear; hears nothing but her own echo* See, I told ya! Anyway, I took yesterday's evening flight from Cochin and landed in Dubai at midnight.
I know an update is long due and that I have to start somewhere. But where? That's the question. Just one thing I can say; the past two months have taught me a lot. None of which I would have learned, had I been here. While being under "hostel arrest" (something which is just as much fun as it doesn't really seem to sound) there'd been both joyful and painful moments and I'm here with a sackful of memories to cherish. I never even in my wildest dreams thought that I would enjoy my life there so much but I do, and I was actually feeling bad when college closed and everybody parted exchanging a final round of hugs and "Merry X'mas"s. Anyway, once I landed here and saw my parents at the airport beaming at me, all my blues vanished and yup, now I'm pretty much back to my normal self. Except that I actually made my bed today morning. :D
Oh and you know what, ever since I've been away, my mom's been purchasing like two tops every weeked for me and hanging it up in my wardrobe. Taking into account the number of weeks I've been away from home, you can more than fathom the state of mental blow I underwent the minute I opened my wardrobe. And guess what, I got my own lil mini bar stocked with lots n lots of chocolates. Well, that's something to keep me going, now that I'm a vegan. Till 25th, that is. Yup, no meat or fish till Xmas. But I ate a slice of chicken sandwich on the plane yesterday. Quite unknowingly. That too, just two bites. Dad thinks it's okay, fasting is applicable to you only while on ground. :P
Well, the first day of my vacation is going on smoothly. Spending some lazy lamhe crouching on the sofa. But you know what, it feels really weird drifting off to sleep without having to hear the noise of the fan.
Like, really!
