OH just leave me alone...

... for heaven’s sake!

Now for all you impulsive folks out there, who got all perplexed on reading the title and are heading your way out of the den, freeze right there, coz this short n sweet message ain’t for you guys but for those vexatious, fat, nasty little blood sucking creatures who’s been deriving immense pleasure by hovering over me for the past half an hour or so. Darn, what IS with these mosquitoes? Really, I must have swatted like five of them or something, in the midst of typing this line. Ouch. There’s another! *swat*

The last one week was pretty hell-bent but all the same we had a blast, especially coz the seniors weren’t around. While the MBAs have vacated, the S5 n S7 females have gone home for their study leave. We, first years really did have a gala time. For once our bathroom anthaksharis and work out at the hostel gym proceeded uninterrupted, something which would probably never happen when you have the seniors chipping in. Seriously, they are getting intolerable day by day. They even complained to the warden that our “cacophonies” are apparently “disrupting” their bath. Isn’t that like, so, lame?

Meanwhile, me n my roomies have totally changed the whole look of our room – while on one side we have decorated the wall with Squeaky’s and Cheeky’s drawings, on the other we have yours truly’s poetry works – like you guessed, I can’t draw for nuts-, and behind the door we’ve stuck a paper which has the b’days of all our wing mates written on it. Then, there are testimonials all across the walls, which we’ve written for each other. Believe me, our room’s one of the wackiest and the most colorful one we have there.

Oh and I totally love Squeaky. She’s one of those few people who make you feel not-so-bad about life just when you feel it has screwed you. One hug from her is enough to make you break into a smile no matter how much ever depressed you feel inside. At the same time, she’s the craziest of us all. Probably, someone belonging to the same family as Geet from Jab We Met. Yeah, that just about describes her perfectly. And it's funny how the five of us, have gelled so well in such a short period of time.

So, it’s the festival of lights this time around that makes me all zesty, as it’s not just one but three days of leave we students get, and as usual I’ve been freaking out on movies. Obviously, with various channels breaking into a blockbuster every now and then, you have absolutely no option but to stay tuned. On that note, I’d like to wish every one of you a happy and prosperous Diwali!
